Description
Game Store Simulator is a first-person shop simulator about running a small-town video game store. You start with $1,000, one shelf, a glass console case and a few boxes of stock. Order wholesale cases on the office computer, carry deliveries out of the stockroom, fill the shelves, scan games at the till and count out change.
The store sells for six fictional consoles across four generations, from the 8-bit Pixel to the brand-new Voltage X, which launches on day 8. Consoles rise, peak and go retro as days pass, and the market moves with them: wholesale quotes drift with demand, new stock for retired consoles disappears and pre-owned values climb.
Install a Trade-In Desk and collectors start bringing their old games and consoles. Make an offer, but lowball them twice and they storm out. Refurbish damaged finds on the Repair Bench, hire cashiers and stockers with their own shifts, run ad campaigns and expand into the shop next door. Close each day with a report of every sale and expense, earn XP, and work through twenty levels of unlocks.
